I haven't been blogging for a long time...... Been busy with everyday life. And clearly the slogan by Mrbrown "Remember , Prison Got No Broadband '' got to my head.
Yes , My fav. reads are Yawning Bread now. Very good blog .Rockson is so unreliable in terms of regularity.
Not forgetting the usual Mr brown and kennysia .
Many of you are aware that during the elections, you are not allowed to blog, podcast or publish anything that persistently promotes a certain political view, or political party. I definitely cannot controll myself .
My constituency is Sembawang GRC, so u can imagine my horror when Health Minster Khaw showed up as one of the new member in the 6 member Sembawang GRC. I am not very keen with the gahmen's idea...... But what to do?Lao Lee thinks this guy is capable.....He worked
as a secretary for Lao Goh last time.....
He is expected to take over the job from Tony Tan who sowed the seeds and worked damn hard but only to let Khaw take over his nuts and fruits. The other long serving members were over shadowed perfectly by this new guy on the block.
All of these hype around this dude really pissed me off . And fuck SDP who damn lack in power......
This is the first time I and my 2 sisters are voting .
Apparently we ain't that excited . The only one who showed some concern was our father. He woke up yesterday morning 6 am. This is not his 1st time voting .... The 3rd time round liao......
3 times is a lot , u know .
We decided that we would first have breakfast , then shop a bit for groceries.
Together with our dog , we went on to the polling station which was jus 2 mins away from our home.....My dog did not have the chance to go into the polling station.....We dunno why, we thought dogs ain't allowed but we saw no sign lah.....
The whole thing lasted for last than 5mins..... Some people have to Q a bit coz' they belong to another block......
The primary school is damn clean and new..... Just finished up-grading less than 2 years ago.....
From the inside of the school , my neighborhood look real nice , clean and green even.
The newly done covered walk-way.... The nice pattern ground..... The newly painted flats.
All these are so shallow. I don't need nice leaf pattern flooring at the covered walk-ways. Ordinary flooring will do ......
But true lah , my old parents and my aging neighbors need
the covered walk-ways .And not forgetting the lifts that are currently just beginning to
upgrade at my block.
It will take 2 years or 2.5 yrs to finished lor.....
A long waiting game ......
